Service Description

PLPCs (Provisional Licensed Professional Counselors) are individuals who are provisionally licensed to provide Mental Health Counseling and Psychotherapy Services to the public under the active supervision of a Board-Approved Supervisor while working toward independent licensure. PLPCs must accrue a minimum of 3,000 hours of supervised experience in a minimum timeframe of two years before they may be considered for LPC licensure. PLPCs may not practice independently or receive direct payment for services rendered.

Cancellation Policy

Appointment Scheduling:Appointments for online mental health therapy sessions can be scheduled through our secure online platform or by contacting our scheduling team.Sessions are available during specified hours, and clients can choose a time that best suits their needs.Payment and Confirmation:Payment for each session is required at the time of booking to secure the appointment.Clients will receive a confirmation email with details of the scheduled session, including the date, time, and a link to the online therapy platform.Cancellations and Rescheduling:Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without incurring any additional charges.Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the session) may be subject to a cancellation fee.No-Show Policy:If a client fails to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.Excessive no-shows may result in the need to pre-pay for future appointments.Emergency Situations:In case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, exceptions to the cancellation policy may be considered. Clients are encouraged to contact the therapist as soon as possible in such situations.Cancellation Policy for Online Mental Health Therapy:Cancellation Notice:Clients are required to provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of online mental health therapy sessions.Cancellation Fee:Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee, equivalent to a portion of the session cost.Communication of Cancellation:Clients must communicate cancellations or rescheduling requests through the designated communication channels, which may include the online platform or direct contact with the therapist.Refund Policy:Refunds for cancellations made within the stipulated time frame will be processed promptly.Refunds will not be provided for late cancellations or no-shows.Waitlist Policy for Online Mental Health Therapy:Waitlist Registration:Clients interested in securing an appointment slot that is currently unavailable may request to be placed on the waitlist.Notification of Availability:If a session becomes available due to a cancellation or rescheduling, clients on the waitlist will be notified in the order of their registration.Response Time:Clients on the waitlist will be given a specified time frame within which to respond and confirm their interest in the available session.
